Terra Prime is the brainchild of University of New Mexico professor Dr. Manuel Montoya. It's a collection of complex, interwoven ideas about the nature of global capital, its proclivities and horrors. Working with the core team, I laid out the "Blueprint Deck" from Dr. Montoya's concepts and texts. Each card features a public domain image on one side, and on the other, questions and provocations about the archetype depicted. Below, you'll find some of the prototypes of the cards I designed in 2021, while working with Dr. Montoya to develop the card deck concept. You'll also find images of the cards I laid out for our Kickstarter launch of the Blueprint Deck.
